Headteacher’s Welcome

Wootton-by-Woodstock Primary School is a small village school at the centre of our local community. We are a happy and welcoming school community where we teach and learn through our core Christian values of friendship, kindness and respect. We aim to be the best we can for ourselves and the good of others.

At Wootton by Woodstock Primary School we aim to provide an engaging and responsive curriculum that provides children with the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to prepare themselves for life beyond the classroom. We place importance on experiences and opportunities to broaden the children’s understanding of the wider curriculum and have a rich variety of trips, visits and educational experiences planned into our whole school curriculum.  Our 3 core curriculum values are centred around curiosity, creativity and independence.

Our small staff team are an integral part of our school. They have high expectations of the children and work hard to create warm and nurturing relationships that enable children to develop independence, as well as positive attitudes to learning.

Our days at school should be reflected on with positive memories and warm friendships. We want to provide rich and relevant learning experiences for our children, so they are well prepared for life beyond our school and can achieve all they are capable of.

We look forward to welcoming you to our school community.
